We had to replace the battery of our remote control to lock/unlock the doors for our Seat Leon from 2007, but how to sync the key with the car?

Paul, you don't have to sync the remote with your car as long as you ONLY changed the battery. If the remote doesn't work with the new battery, the problem is somewhere else.
